The best criticism Obama can level against him is that he criticizes people for not living up to his standards. When it comes to choosing a president, I want someone with high standards.

I agree. We have seen an erosion of political standards over the last two generations and now we take mediocrity for granted. Our political culture has degraded to the point where honesty and idealism are mocked instead of lauded.
Regardless of any criticism one might want to level at Nader, he is unflinchingly honest, steadfastly incorruptible, and probably the single most accomplished legislator of all the candidates, despite not holding office (the number of useful state and federal laws Nader has pushed through over the last 40 years boggles the mind).
I welcome Nader and anyone like him into the race.
